The rubberized crack filling, which starts Thursday and will be carried out between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. CT to limit the impact on drivers, involves a slow moving six-vehicle convoy.

Flashing lights along with electronic messaging and arrow boards will be in place to alert drivers.

The convoy will also have a Saskatoon police escort.

Officials said drivers must stay at least 15 metres behind the convoy and to exercise caution and reduce speed if it is necessary to pass the equipment.
