Lane restrictions will be in place starting on Sept. 18 and last for about a week. The intersection will have to be closed for three to four days during the week for the upgrades.

The restrictions are necessary due to the cranes and equipment needed to install a new pole structure.

There will also be restricted access to the Meewasin Trail pathway and sidewalks while the work is carried out.

City officials said the upgrades are needed to ensure a continued supply of safe and reliable power in the area.
