A court appearance by a Saskatchewan municipal police officer charged with impaired driving has been delayed to allow the defence a chance to examine evidence in detail.
Brett Lee Henry, a 13-year member of the Prince Albert Police Service, was charged last month.

Henry, 35, was to appear in Prince Albert provincial court on Thursday, but that was adjourned until next Tuesday at the request of his counsel.
Defence lawyer Michael Owens told court the evidence sent to his office contains a lot of video which he must review with his client before proceeding.
Henry was charged after an investigation that began after the police service received a tip from the public about an impaired driver.

He remains on paid administrative leave while the case is before the courts.
An internal police review is to follow the criminal proceedings.
