A 33-year-old Toronto man has been charged after being accused of posing as an Uber driver and sexually assaulting a passenger.
A 25-year-old woman filed a complaint with Durham Regional Police on Sunday.
According to investigators, she was leaving a nightclub in the area of Cherry Street and Polson Street in downtown Toronto on Sunday when she was approached by a man in a red Camry.

Police said the man posed as a driver for ride-sharing service Uber and asked if she would like a ride.

The sexual assault allegedly occurred during the drive home.
Muhammad Fahad, 33, was arrested Monday and charged with sexual assault and theft under $5,000.
