New Brunswick RCMP are investigating a stabbing that took place in Moncton on Thursday night.
Police were called to West Lane around 11:30 p.m. after receiving a report that a man in the area had been stabbed.

Based on their investigation, police say the 57-year-old victim was assaulted a short time before he was found at Lexi’s Lounge, a bar located on nearby Reade Street.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment. There is no word on his condition at this time.
