The eastbound 409 has reopened at Martin grove Road after a tractor-trailer rollover early Sunday morning.
Toronto Fire responded to a call around 1:00 a.m. about a tractor-trailer on its side with the cab fully engulfed in flames.
Cpt. David Eckerman told Global News three pumper trucks worth of water, as well as foam was used to put the blaze out.
There was also diesel leaking into the catch basins, according to Eckerman.
The truck was carrying construction materials but nothing hazardous.
No injuries were reported and the driver escaped unharmed.
The highway was closed for several hours as crews repaved the on-ramp.
