A joint operation by two Nova Scotia police forces has a 43-year-old facing multiple drug-related charges.
The Cape Breton Regional Police Service and the RCMP executed a search warrant at a home on Heelan Street in New Waterford on Tuesday.

Police seized a large quantity of cocaine, marijuana, hash, shatter and Ritalin.
The man was held in custody overnight and will appear in court Wednesday morning.

He’s been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking marijuana, possession for the purpose of trafficking shatter, possession for the purpose of trafficking hash and possession for the purpose of trafficking Ritalin.
