The appearance of a funnel cloud over a New Brunswick town on Thursday has produced some remarkable photos.
There were no reports of a tornado touching down in the Woodstock area and no reports of any damage.

That doesn’t mean no one was concerned.
“You don’t see things like that around here,” Shyann Neilson wrote in a Facebook message. “Whether it was an actual tornado forming or not, it definitely convinced myself and MANY other people that it was.”

Neilson took photos of the cloud from a Dairy Queen parking lot and says she got nervous and surprised as soon as she saw it.
New Brunswick has had a spate of extreme weather incidents this week, with hail hitting the Miramichi area on Tuesday.
