“I really would have been [in Yerevan] but if I came there and my wife had twins while I was there, I could never come home,” he joked.

Ahead of the twins’ birth, People reports former U.S. President Barack Obama paid Amal, 39, and George, 56, a special visit.

After having met with Prince Harry at Kensington Palace on Saturday, May 27, Obama reportedly stopped by the Clooneys’ mansion in the English countryside west of London.

The visit lasted approximately four hours and, not surprisingly, a source told People “[Obama] had tons of security around him.”
