Wind warning ended for Calgary: Environment Canada

A wind warning issued for Calgary on Wednesday has now ended.

The warning, issued at around 4:40 a.m., cautioned that an intense low pressure system would bring strong and potentially damaging winds.

“Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur,” Environment Canada cautioned. “Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.”

Environment Canada cancelled the warning shortly after midnight on Thursday.
