The first surgery was a gastric sleeve, which cost an estimated US$8,000-$10,000, Shannon told People, “This was the worst surgery, so painful.”
The reality star then spent US$17,000 on her neck to remove her “turkey neck,” US$11,000 on her arms to lift her “bat wings,” US$14,000 on a breast lift and implants, and US$15,000 to remove the loose skin on her stomach – where a total of 9-pounds of skin was removed from Shannon’s body.
Finally Shannon finished her extensive makeover with pricey porcelain veneers to have a pearly white smile, costing US$10,000.

While the journey of intense surgeries and a lifestyle change was a long one, she says she hopes her daughters Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, 17, and Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, 11, – who live with Shannon – will embrace the same changes even though it’s not something “Mama” wants to force on them.
“I do worry about their health, but I’m not going to say ‘You got to eat salads all the time,” says Shannon. “I’ve seen Pumpkin and Alana lose and gain weight, but I don’t want them to end up like I did at 460-pounds. Who would want that?”
