German news outlets report that police have arrested at least one suspect in connection with a brutal attack on a woman inside a Berlin subway station.
According to Berliner-Zeitung, Berlin police arrested and interrogated a suspect on Monday after receiving upwards of 10 leads.

Police did not release the identity of the suspect and did not explain what led a man to kick a 26-year-old woman from behind down a flight of stairs.

Berlin’s BZ newspaper reported that a spokesman for the Berlin public prosecutor confirmed that the suspect was not sought as the main offender of the attack.
The Oct. 27 incident was captured on a Berlin U-Bahn station security camera and has received a lot of attention since video of the attack was released by police last week.

Several people offered rewards for information leading to the identity of the suspects involved, including a security guard who posted a €2,000 reward on Facebook.
BZ reported an anonymous source was offering a €10,000 reward.
The woman in the video was reported to have suffered a broken arm in the attack.
