Commuters can expect a slower-than-usually morning commute.
Toronto police have already reported a number of accidents and collisions in the city.
The city has approximately 1,200 pieces of snow-fighting equipment which may be deployed overnight. “Midnight into 5 a.m. should be the busiest,” said Hector Moreno, manager of Road Operations. Moreno advised the public to leave extra time for travel and take public transit if possible.
