School closures, bus cancellations across Manitoba Tuesday Dec. 6 morning

WINNIPEG — The winter conditions on this December morning are causing schools across the province to cancel classes and bus services Tuesday.

Cancelled classes:

• Lord Selkirk School Division – all schools closed.
• Seine River School Division – all schools closed.
• Prairie Rose School Division – all schools closed.
• Pine Creek School Division – all schools closed.
• Sunrise School Division – all schools closed.
• Park West School Division – all schools closed.
• Hanover School Division – schools are closed to students and staff.
• Evergreen School Division – all schools closed.
• Border Land School Division – classes and buses cancelled.
• Interlake School Division –  classes and buses cancelled.
• Red River Valley School Division – all schools closed.
• Brandon School Division – Alexander, O’Kelly and Spring Valley Schools are closed.
• Division Scolaire Franco-Manitobaine – rural schools closed, except in Thompson. City schools remain open.
• The Turtle Mountain School Division – classes and buses are cancelled.
• Sergeant Tommy Prince School and daycare is closed today.
• Beautiful Plains School Division – all schools closed.
• Fort La Bosse School Division – all schools closed.
• Prairie Spirit School Division – all schools closed.
• Beautiful Savior Lutheran School closed for the day because of a Hyrdo outage in Norwood Flats.
• Mennonite Collegiate Institute – classes cancelled.
• Western School Division – all schools closed.
• Providence University College campus closed.
• Red River College Interlake, Winkler and Peguis – Fisher River campuses closed.

Bus service cancelled:

• River East Transcona School Division – no rural bus service.
• Classes are still on at the Louis Riel School Division, but there will be no rural bus service.
• Classes in St. James-Assiniboia School Division are on, but buses outside of the city are cancelled. There will be no bus service for the Headingley area.
• Brandon School Division buses will not be operating outside of the city.
• Faith Academy – bus routes 18 from Stonewall, 19 from Selkirk and 20 are cancelled today.
• Calvin Christian School – country route is not operating at the school. Shuttle service will be delayed.
• Beautiful Plains School Division – buses cancelled.
• Rolling River School Division – buses cancelled.
• Seven Oaks School Division – all rural buses cancelled.
