A man made off with cash and cigarettes in an armed robbery at a Saskatoon off-sale.

It happened early Thursday morning at the Fox & Hounds off-sale at Assiniboine Drive and Warman Road.

Police said a man entered the store at around 2:30 a.m. CT and threatened an employee with a handgun.

He then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and smokes.

The employee was not physically harmed.

Police are looking for what is believed to be a Caucasian man, around 30 years old with a thin build and a goatee. He was wearing a black zip-up sweater with red markings, a black toque, blue pants and glasses, and carrying a green bag.
