Tyler Steenbergen struck twice – once on the power play – as the Swift Current Broncos defeated the Saskatoon Blades 5-1 on Tuesday in Western Hockey League (WHL) action.
Ryan Graham had the eventual winner late in the first period for Swift Current (12-7-6), while Lane Pederson and Kaden Elder also scored.
It was the first goal for Graham in a Broncos uniform after he was traded by Saskatoon to Swift Current earlier in the week.

Graham also had three assists against his former team.
Logan Christensen had a power-play goal in the third period for the Blades (9-15-1), who have dropped four in a row.
The Blades are back in action on Friday when they take on the Brandon Wheat Kings at SaskTel Centre.
In other WHL action involving Saskatchewan teams, Max Gerlach scored the power-play winner 5:37 into the third period as the Medicine Hat Tigers downed the Moose Jaw Warriors 6-3.
Ty Schultz and Chad Butcher, into an empty net, added some insurance as Medicine Hat (17-5-1) won its sixth straight. Matt Bradley, John Dahlstrom and Zach Fischer chipped in as well.
Jayden Halbgewachs had back-to-back goals for Moose Jaw (13-5-4) and Nikita Popugaev also found the back of the net.
In Prince George, Brendan Guhle, Jansen Harkins and Colby McAuley all scored in the first period as the Cougars jumped out to an early lead against Regina and never looked back, downing the Pats 5-2.
Kody McDonald and Jesse Gabrielle both had empty-net goals in the final two minutes of play as Prince George (18-4-2) won its fourth consecutive game.
Austin Wagner and Sergey Zborovskiy replied for the Pats.
