Man seriously injured in rollover on Ring Road; charges pending

A 36-year-old man is in serious but non-life-threatening condition after his car rolled over on Ring Road near Winnipeg Street Sunday afternoon, according to Regina police.

At around 1 p.m, police and EMS crews responded to reports of a single vehicle rollover on the highway.

Police say their initial investigation determined the driver of the car was travelling south on the Ring Road when he failed to maneuver a right curve in the highway.

They also say his car went off the road and into the centre median ditch.

The driver of the car was transported to Regina General Hospital for treatment.

Regina police are investigating the cause of the crash and they say charges are pending.
