A new mapping tool aims to make it easier for anglers and hunters in Saskatchewan find information before they head out on their next adventure.
The HABISask (Hunting, Angling and Biodiversity Information of Saskatchewan) online mapping tool is designed to combine new and existing information on angling, hunting and biodiversity in the province.

For hunters, it includes wildlife zones, game preserves, refuges and bird sanctuaries, along with biologist management areas and the locations of conservation officer field offices.
Anglers will be able to find fish presence in bodies of water, the stocking history, and any special regulations in place.
The Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation (SWF) said the mapping tool will be a great resource for outdoor enthusiasts.
“HABISask has something for everyone, whether you’re planning a hunting or angling trip, or looking for the best bird watching spots,” SWF executive director Darrell Crabbe said.

The mapping tool is also accessible on mobile devices and tablets.
