Donald Trump is bold, brash and often outrageous, and he’s also in the running to be the president of the United States of America.

The campaign trail has been long, and the Republican nominee’s antics have dominated headlines. What at first seemed impossible, a reality TV star becoming the most powerful person on earth, has materialized into what polls predict could be a tight race.

IN DEPTH: U.S. presidential election 2016

Trump has managed to endear himself to voters by positioning himself as the straight-talking, effective, non-politician that will fight for millions of Americans feeling they’re getting left behind.

He’s pledged to build a wall which will span the entire southern U.S. border — which he claims Mexico will pay for — as well as deport millions of undocumented immigrants.

Also on Trump’s radar: Mosques should be monitored, along with a “total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States.

The billionaire real estate mogul has praised the leadership of Russian President Vladimir Putin, quoted Benito Mussolini, and said he’s open to using nuclear weapons.

A leaked video in which Trump said he can “do anything” to women was chalked up as “locker room talk” by Trump, while he has vowed to sue all the “liars” who have accused him of sexual assault.

Democratic rival Hillary Clinton has perhaps been at the brunt of his most vicious attacks. According to Trump, “crooked” Clinton is the “devil,” “a bigot,” and “a criminal.”

As the campaign comes to a close, Global News has compiled 90 of Trump’s most memorable moments in the video above.
