Mother Nature brewed up a spooky morning across the Edmonton region, where a fog advisory was in effect Monday.
Thick fog blanketed the region this Halloween morning. The advisory stretched from Edson in the west, to Vegreville in the east, and included the Camrose and Wetaskiwin areas to the southeast and the Athabasca region to the north.

A fog advisory is issued when there’s near-zero visibility. Environment Canada said in some areas, the visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero.
The advisory was dropped around 10:40 a.m.
Environment Canada said the fog should slowly dissipate later in the morning.
