Investigators are still trying to determine motive and whether the shooting was targeted. They do not believe this incident is connected to the recent wave of violence that has hit the Lower Mainland.

“It is early in the investigation, but police are making every effort to establish the motive for the shooting,” said Cpl. Meghan Foster of IHIT in a statement released Saturday. “We ask that the public exercise vigilance, while we work to find justice for our victims and their families.”
