Billy Bush’s brief time with the Today Show on NBC has officially come to an end.
Noah Oppenheim, the show’s executive producer, released a short statement Monday which announced, “Billy Bush will be leaving the TODAY show’s 9am (sic) hour, effective today.
Bush had been suspended since a 2005 tape of him and Republican nominee Donald Trump was made public earlier this month.
Bush later said he was “embarrassed and ashamed.” Trump has since denied groping women.
The audio featured the two making lewd comments about women as the pair rode a bus during an Access Hollywood segment.
