Officers were called to the Stonegate Drive N.W. location at around 8:50 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 10 after an employee called 911.

Investigators said a masked man drove up to the drive-thru window, flashed a firearm to the employee and demanded cash.

“The employee cooperated with the suspect’s demands and the suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash money,” RCMP said in a Thursday news release.

RCMP said the suspect was wearing a dark jacket with a small white Puma logo on it. He was driving a dark grey Honda Accord from the early 2000s with tinted windows, four doors and a rear spoiler.

Anyone with information is asked to call Airdrie RCMP at 403-945-7200 or contact Crime Stoppers.
