Just when you thought American politics couldn’t get any more interesting, a state parliament in Australia has responded to his “locker-room talk” by passing a motion to call Donald Trump a “revolting pig unfit for public office.”

The motion was introduced Thursday by Jeremy Buckingham, a lawmaker from the Greens party, to the New South Wales Legislative Council, the parliament’s upper house.

Buckingham brought forward the motion in response to leaked comments regarding Trump making sexual advances on women without their consent.

“When you’re a star they let you do it,” Trump said in the tapes, released last Friday. “You can do anything. Grab them by the p***y. You can do anything.”

The Republican presidential candidate apologized for the comments; however, he dismissed it as “locker-room talk” before and during Sunday’s second presidential debate.

The upper house of parliament passed the motion unanimously Thursday. Had any lawmaker objected to the motion, it would have been struck off the list of parliamentary business.

“This house agrees with those who have described Mr. Trump as a ‘revolting slug’ unfit for public office,” the motion said.

The motion condemned “misogynist and hateful comments” made by Trump about women and minorities, adding that his comments “clearly describe sexual assault.”

“It’s clear that all reasonable and decent people find Donald Trump’s behaviour obnoxious and that the world is hoping American voters reject his politics of hate,” Buckingham said.

The motion comes on the heels of a New York Times report in which two women accuse Trump of sexual assault. A third woman told NBC News that Trump assaulted her in the 1970s. During Sunday’s debate, the Republican nominee denied ever sexually assaulting women.

Trump is now threatening to sue the New York Times for libel if it doesn’t take down its story.
