RCMP investigate deadly crash southwest of Edmonton

RCMP said a 38-year-old man is dead after his car rolled southwest of Edmonton early Wednesday morning.

Mounties said officers were called to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 627 east of Highway 60 at 12:30 a.m.

According to police, the car was found on its roof after going off the road.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and was the only person in the car.

RCMP said an investigation into what caused the crash is ongoing.
