Kelowna RCMP say two men are facing charges in connection with a serious assault in Rutland.
The attack happened Monday night when a man showed up at Kelowna General to be treated for serious, but non life-threatening injuries.
Police say the two suspects were arrested at separate residences.
“A police investigation was sparked which has led investigators to the arrest of two suspects related to two separate properties on Hein Road in Kelowna, both of which remain the subject of a continuing investigation,” said Cst. Jesse O’Donaghey.
He said the attack appears to be an isolated incident.
Both suspects are 46. One of them is also facing drug charges.
They appeared in Kelowna court Wednesday.
