A driver in Langley that died in a crash on Friday evening suffered a major medical issue prior to the accident, according to Langley RCMP.
Mounties were on the scene near the intersection of 72 Avenue and Crush Crescent around 5:30 p.m. after receiving reports of erratic driving in the area of 72 Avenue and 203 Street.
Reports claimed the suspect vehicle, a Cadillac, was driving at excessive speeds and veering into oncoming traffic. Along its route down 72 Avenue, it collided with two parked cars and continued until it hit a moving Ford pick-up and spun out of control.
The driver of the Cadillac was confirmed dead and his two passengers, who were at first trapped, were freed after sustaining critical injuries.

The occupant of the Ford did not receive any serious injuries.
RCMP and the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service are now investigating the crash. Motorists are asked to avoid the area Friday evening as the investigation continues.
