Winnipeg Blue Bombers once again capture two of three weekly CFL awards

WINNIPEG – For the third time in four weeks, two Winnipeg Blue Bombers have taken home Shaw CFL Top Performers of the Week awards.

Kicker Justin Medlock was honoured after booting a 42-yard, game-winning field goal on Sunday to give Winnipeg its first Labour Day Classic victory since 2004. The 32-year-old completed seven of eight field goal attempts in the 28-25 win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders including one from 52 yards out. Medlock also named a Shaw CFL Top Performer last week.

Wide receiver Quincy McDuffie was also recognized for his performance which included an 82-yard touchdown catch. McDuffie finished the game with seven receptions for 153 yards and a major. He also returned four kickoffs for 53 yards.

BC Lions linebacker Soloman Elimimian rounds out the Shaw CFL Top Performers for Week 11.
