Winnipeg Blue Bombers take home 2 weekly CFL awards

Kevin Fogg and Clarence Denmark have been named Shaw CFL Top Perfomers of the Week for their part in the Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ 34-17 win over the Toronto Argonauts.

Fogg had two interceptions, a fumble recovery, a sack and four defensive tackles in the Week 8 tilt last Friday. The rookie defensive back sits second in the league with a total of three interceptions. He also has 42 defensive tackles this season.

Denmark helped the Bombers pick up a third straight victory by racking up seven catches for two touchdowns and a career-best 195 yards. Four of Denmark’s receptions in the game were for 20 or more yards. Since returning to Winnipeg two weeks ago, the six-year CFL veteran receiver has caught 14 passes for 264 yards and three touchdowns.
