False accusations

“As a mom of four kids, I was really scared. Really, really scared.”

A West Island woman is looking to set the record straight after she and her husband were wrongfully accused of running over a dog in Pierrefonds on Friday and receiving several threats.

Back to school at Lakeside Academy

“It really makes you look at your school as a whole and look at what can we change, what can we add, what can we remove.”

It was the first day of school at Lakeside Academy, and following the threat of closure last year, students, parents and teachers said they’re happy to be back.

Where to build?

“For these two locations, there’s still some work to do to see where the parking’s going to be, where the terminus for buses are going to be, and that’s why this is a continuous process.”

Football fundraiser tackles the need for new wheels

“A lot of children do not have the means to get to the games because a lot of them are far away, so some children do get left behind unfortunately,”

The Pointe-Saint-Charles Aces have been supplying children from low income families with football equipment and rides to games for over a decade but now the van they have been using for 15 years has broken down.

Python on the lam

Residents in Verdun are nervous after animal control lost track of Lady, a 4-foot python. Lady was last spotted Monday living inside the walls of a Verdun home, south-west of downtown Montreal.
