A fire burning two kilometres north of Predator Ridge Golf Course near Vernon is now in the mop-up stage.
The Kokanee Road fire was discovered around 3:20 p.m. on Saturday.
Crews from both the Vernon Fire Department and the B.C. Wildfire Service have been fighting the fire.

Two air tankers and a helicopter attacked the fire from the air.
It grew to six hectares overnight, but is only displaying rank one behaviour, which means it is now a smoldering grass fire.
B.C. Wildfire has 20 personnel on scene who are working on danger tree falling and putting out hot spots.
