JOHNSTOWN, N.S. – Police say a 40-year-old Alberta man was killed when his motorcycle went off a road in rural Nova Scotia and crashed in a ditch.

Richmond County RCMP say the accident on Highway 4 in Johnstown happened at about two yesterday afternoon.
Police, a fire crew and paramedics responded, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not clear what caused the crash.
Police are continuing their investigation.
