Two teenage boys have been charged in connection with the armed robbery of a North York convenience store.
Toronto police were called to the Jane Street and Sheppard Avenue West area store around 7 p.m. Monday.
Police said the two boys entered the store wearing balaclavas. One of the boys allegedly pointed a semi-automatic handgun at the victim and demanded money before leaving.
The boys, who are 14 and 16 and cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, have been charged with multiple robbery and firearm-related offences.
They were scheduled to appear in a North York court on Tuesday.
