GREY HIGHLANDS, Ont. – A 20-month-old child has died after being hit by a van in the Municipality of Grey Highlands, northwest of Toronto.
Ontario Provincial Police say Heidi Bauman of Wellesley was struck by the van on Sunday morning as her family was getting her out of another vehicle at a residence in the municipality.

She was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead.
The OPP don’t expect to lay charges in the case.
