A man and a woman are dead after a crash at the intersection of highways 1 and 47 in Grenfell, Sask.
Police said a northbound SUV collided with a westbound semi at around 5 p.m. local time on Thursday.

The two people in the SUV, a 76-year-old man and a 74-year-old woman, both from Grayson, Sask., were declared dead at the scene. Their names have not been released.
The driver of the semi was not injured.
A section of Highway 1 was blocked for a period of time while a RCMP traffic analyst investigated.

Broadview RCMP continue to investigate, but have said that alcohol is not a factor.
