Premier Christy Clark’s caucus is one member smaller today following the sudden departure of one of her MLAs.
Pat Pimm, who represents the riding of Peace River North says allegations have been brought forward against him that require him to obtain legal counsel.
He is stepping away from the Liberal caucus but will continue to sit as an independent MLA.
It is unclear what exactly Pimm is accused of but the matter is headed to court.
Pimm announced earlier this year he will not be running in next year’s provincial election.
