Coroner identifies man found on Arrow Lake shore

The B.C. Coroners Service had identified the 69-year-old Revelstoke man who was found near the Shelter Bay Campground and Boat Launch on August 6.

He was Leslie Raymond Westselaar.

Westselaar was found by a party of boaters looking to beach their boat on the shore of Upper Arrow Lake.

In a release, the coroners service said Westselaar had gone missing on April 20, 2016 from the Centennial Park Boat Launch in Revelstoke.

When Westselaar went missing in April, RCMP ruled out foul play and treated the matter as a drowning.
