Police are investigating a confrontation between two men inside a vehicle in the parking lot of a West Kelowna restaurant on Saturday night.
It happened outside the Dairy Queen on Highway 97 South. RCMP say they’re looking into allegations that threats were made and a weapon was present.

A witness told Global News that a man with a weapon came to the Dairy Queen parking lot from a nearby bank and entered a vehicle that was in the drive-thru.
The witness said the man with the weapon ran from the scene, while the person operating the vehicle drove into a pole in the parking lot.

RCMP have not confirmed the witness’ account, but say it’s believed the two men knew each other.
