A witness told Global News that a man with a weapon came to the Dairy Queen parking lot from a nearby bank and entered a vehicle that was in the drive-thru.

The witness said the man with the weapon ran from the scene, while the person operating the vehicle drove into a pole in the parking lot.

RCMP have not confirmed the witness’ account, but say it’s believed the two men knew each other.

Anyone with information is asked to contact West Kelowna RCMP.
