A teenage boy was in youth court to be charged with assault and criminal harassment after posting two videos on Facebook that allegedly show a homeless man being assaulted.
One video shows a young man throwing a drink at the man, who has since been identified as Raymond.
“Are you recording?” He asks the person filming before tipping his drink on the man’s face.
The man slaps the drink away, yelling in surprise.
The second shows the same teen approaching a man who was sitting on a bench and slapping him.
Both videos have garnered views in the hundreds of thousands on the social media site.
According to Montreal police, the victim was found Thursday afternoon.
The teen was arrested at Papineau metro at 4:30 p.m. the same day.
