A man is scheduled to appear in court after he was arrested trying to evade Saskatoon police in a stolen car.
At around 3 a.m. CT on Wednesday, officers spotted a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer being driven dangerously on Idylwyld Drive.
The car had been reported stolen the previous week.

When police officers tried to stop the car, the driver instead tried to evade them for a short distance.

It came to an end when he hit a curb while turning, disabling the car.
A 30-year-old man was taken into custody and is facing several charges including possession of stolen property, dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.
He is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon provincial court on Wednesday afternoon.
A 17-year-old girl who was in the car is being questioned by members of the targeted enforcement unit
The arrest comes after police were trying to determine if there was a connection between the stolen car and a woman in distress.

Last Friday, a caller told police that she saw a man and woman arguing at 22nd Street West and Avenue W.
Police were told the woman appeared to be in distress and the man appeared to push the woman into a vehicle.
A vehicle with the same description was seen being driven erratically later that day near Idylwyld Drive and 71st Street before heading north towards Warman.
