One cyclist is dead and another has life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in the Hamilton area.
The two male cyclists were traveling eastbound on Highway 5 near Sydenham Road in Flamborough when a passing vehicle struck the cyclists from behind.
Ontario Provincial Police said they were called at 11:35 a.m.

One cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and another was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Highway 5 is closed between Offield Road and Millgrove Side Road for an investigation.
