WINNIPEG — Winnipeg’s largest indoor is temporarily closing its doors.
The Pan Am Pool, off of Grant Avenue, is closing to the public for facility upgrades starting July 25, the city said in a media release sent Friday. Repairs are expected to be complete late September.
“In anticipation of the upcoming 2017 Canada Summer Games, the original 50-year-old bulkhead will be replaced with a new dual bulkhead system,” the city said.
“Interior renovations include an improved lounge space in the public area at the front entrance and upgrades to the parking lot nearest the building.”
