Animal shelter asks Pokemon Go players to walk its dogs

What’s better than playing Pokemon Go? Taking a dog in need along for the adventure, that’s what.

An Indiana animal shelter is encouraging Pokemon Go players to walk its shelter dogs while playing the mobile app game.

The Muncie Animal Shelter posted an open invitation on its Facebook page Wednesday.

“Come out to the Muncie Animal Shelter between 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. any day and walk an adoptable dog as you hunt for Pokemon and hatch eggs!” the post says.

“Just go to the front desk and say you are here for the Pokemon dogs!”
