The most damaging pieces of evidence presented in court were videos that captured the merciless assault from last November on Central Avenue.

The pleas spared both victims, who were left with serious but non-life threatening injuries, from having to testify at a trial.

The judge called the video “appalling” and accepted a joint submission, sentencing each brother to 12 months in jail.

“Their guilty plea I think speaks to their remorse, had they not had the remorse they would have plead not guilty and made this process drag through,” Pfefferle said.

“I think that’s really what it’s about and it’s a complicated situation when someone picks a fight and the winner gets charged if I could put it that way.”
