RCMP have laid robbery charges against two women they say robbed the home of Wayne Rattray some time between March 1 and March 2 — the day he was reported missing.
Rattray’s remains were found on an island in the Renous River on May 21.

Fire crews were called to Rattray’s home, which was found completely engulfed in flames, later on March 2. His truck was also found burned on March 7. RCMP say both are believed to be arson cases.
Police arrested 23-year-old April Sandy Bérubé, originally from Grand Falls, and 30-year-old Josée Andrea St-Amand of Three Brooks on June 22.
In addition to the robbery charge, St-Amand is also charged with possession of a prohibited weapon after a search warrant was carried out at a residence in Three Brooks on May 25.
