Mounties released a composite sketch on Thursday of a man suspected of trying to abduct a young boy Wednesday afternoon.
Around 4 p.m., police said a 12-year-old boy was approached by a man in an older, grey, four-door Honda car near Mother Theresa School near Old Boomer Road in Sylvan Lake.
They said the man drove up to the youth before grabbing him by the arm and trying to pull him into the car.
The boy freed himself and ran to safety.
RCMP are looking for a man with the following description:
- White;
- About 25 to 30 years old;
- Bald;
- Wearing a black hoodie with the hood pulled over his head;
- Wearing sunglasses
Police said one of the tires on the car had a black rim.
