Three weeks after Mounties were called to a shooting outside a home in Chipman, Alberta, two men from Edmonton have been charged with numerous offences including attempted murder in connection with the incident.
On the afternoon of May 27, RCMP said officers arrived at a residence on 48 Avenue where a man was found with serious injuries after being shot.
He was rushed to hospital and on Friday, police said he continued to receive care for non-life threatening injuries.

An investigation resulted in police zeroing in on two suspects and arrest warrants were issued for Trent Montgomery Fielder, 45, of Edmonton, and Alex Lajos Nagy, 37, also of Edmonton.
Both were arrested without incident at a home in Edmonton on Thursday and are now charged with attempted murder, discharging a firearm with intent and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. Fielder also faces additional charges: possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order, pointing a firearm and failing to comply with a probation order.
Both men have been remanded into custody and are scheduled to appear in Fort Saskatchewan Provincial Court on Thursday.
The village of Chipman is located about an hour’s drive northeast of Edmonton.
