Actor Jack Black is alive and well despite a series of tweets from his band Tenacious D’s Twitter account which announced his passing early Sunday morning.
The fake tweets began around 5 a.m. ET Sunday with the first reading, “I’m sad to announce the death of Jack Black at the age of 46, rest in peace, brother.”
Several more tweets followed before the hacker announced his hoax.
The account now appears to be back in the hands of its rightful owner.
