From the Skyview1 helicopter, Global News Morning Traffic Reporter Justine Rhoutier snapped this picture of the snow covering up Winnipeg’s downtown skyline.


While snow swirled around the city through the morning commute, it melted on contact. It’s not unusual for Winnipeg to get snow in May. Typically, Winnipeg will get 2cm of snow throughout the month.

Meanwhile in northern Manitoba, many communities have some shoveling to do.
