RCMP in Grande-Anse are investigating extensive vandalism to the town’s “Welcome” signs on Route 11.
Witnesses told police they saw a suspicious vehicle speeding away from the scene of the badly damaged signs on Sunday afternoon.

Police say the vehicle, which witnesses believe was red, may have headed west.
Police also say the vehicle may be damaged considering the vandalism done to the signs.
